A Day In The Life Of Egyptians
In the Grade One classrooms we had some students who were excited to become experts in the daily life of the Egyptians. We begun this topic by trying to recreate jewelry using present day materials. In addition, we had an opportunity to play a game that was common in Egypt, "khuzza lawizza." In the upcoming weeks we are hoping to see what it was like to live in Egypt during these times. We are also going to be considering how our culture is similar or different to the Egyptian's lifestyle. Specifically, we will be looking into what we have learned and adapted from their society.
