Adventures in Storytelling Our Grade One classes have been lucky enough to work with the amazing Jeff Stockton, a storyteller and musician, in our Ancient Egypt inquiry work. Mr. Stockton led us deeper and deeper into the secrets of the pharaohs, and the mysteries along the Nile. The first story he invited us into was the story of Ra, the Sun God, and his quest for immortality. We listened intently to find out how Isis would discover Ra's secret name, and they would be able to live forever. With his harp, Mr. Stockton wove us a story of magic jewels, wild serpents, and golden palaces.
