The HolocaustThe Holocaust took place in 1939-1945. The word Holocaust comes from the Greek word "holokaustos". It means “Burned Whole.” This is what Hitler tried to do to the Jews. The Holocaust was when Jewish people were murdered for believing their own religion. Hitler was trying to eliminate all Jews in the European Nation. All of the Nazis believed Hitler and his way. Hitler gained all his power by killing off his opponents. Barbed wire entangled their lives and in the end 12 million died and 6 million were Jews. Click on these to see some of our work. |
