The Grade One classes enjoyed their trip to Griffith Woods and participating in the TD Canada Trust Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup in September. We worked with Mr. Klinger to identify water bugs and their role in the ecosystem, identify and search for plants with experts from the Calgary Zoo, and do our part cleaning up part of the park! Also, the Grade Ones brought their inquiry into perspective with them on the trip, and used our cameras to take unique photos of what we found there! We tried to find photos that would capture how we view Griffith Woods and the Bow River!
These are some pictures of us enjoying our trip!
