Fiction or fact | Southasia Earthquake | Why do they stay?
Earth is very important in the lives of people. In fact it is so important that our planet is called Earth, after the soil under our feet. Earth can also pose a danger to the people who depend on it for food, shelter, and business. Knowing this we asked three key questions:
How did people of the past understand and expain the dangers of earth without understanding the science behind natural events like earthquakes and volcanoes?
Why would people stay in places where earth could be a danger to them?
What can we do to help people who have been victims of natural disasters that involve our element, earth?
