Welcome to Hillhurst School

We are one of over 215 schools with the Calgary Board of Education that offer a high quality public education program. Hillhurst School, built in 1912, is a small, vibrant elementary school adjacent to Riley Park. The school draws from 41 northwest communities and currently has 2 Kindergarten classes and 6 Grade 1 to 6 classes. It also houses 2 GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) classes for Division II students.

Hillhurst has a close-knit, caring atmosphere that supports the individual growth of children. Through collaborative community effort, we provide enriched learning experiences that foster academic excellence and develop active, responsible, compassionate citizens.
