Child care is provided, snacks and refreshments. ALL parents welcome, no experience required.
What we do?
Working closely with the school administrator, the school council is a volunteer group of parents who meet monthly. We help Stanley Jones (SJ), Alice Jamieson Girls’ Academy (AJA) and the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program (DHH) become even better! Your input is invaluable to our children's education and the success of the school.
The Council takes the lead in certain fundraising events, including the SUTP coupon books and the casino fundraiser. The funds raised are then used to purchase equipment, supplement costs for certain class activities, help pay for field trips or guests to the school, organize family events and more. 100% of funds are used for the betterment of the school.
