Keeping SJ/AJA Community Informed

Feb. 9, 2018

Our AJA Wrestling Team had a very successful season winning the Girls Bantam and Senior Divisions as well as the Girls Aggregate award.  During competition in December, 3 of our students qualified for the Alberta Winter Games and will be competing later this month. Congratulations!

When you read the upcoming events list below know that many of these activities could not have happened without our School Advisory Council support.  We truly appreciate all of their support!

We will be celebrating our schools wonderful diversity on Friday Feb. 23 during multicultural day, and on February 28 we will be acknowledging pink shirt day in support of ending bullying.

We are really excited to be welcoming our Artist In Residence, Mr. Stan Phelps, on February 26th – March 21st.  He will be teaching and working with all of our K-6 students  in learning more about art and supporting  curricular outcomes as well as, guiding our grade 5/6 students and some grade 7-9 art students in designing and completing our school mural.  This will be a huge undertaking and a great learning experience for all involved.
