Tower of Hanoi
Solve this "classic" tower problem and test your theory by varying the number of disks. Also known as the Towers of Brahma, this puzzle was invented by the French mathematician Édouard Lucas in 1883.

Practice your multiplication and division facts while saving the planet from number invaders.

Math Olympics
Answer 20 multiple choice questions correctly to win the Math Olympics. Topics range from basic computation and general math knowledge to word problems with percentages, ratios, and fractions. Math Olympics provides excellent test prep practice for students in grades 4-6.  You may find this challenging!

Volume Problem Solving The Decanting Puzzle
Measure the volume of containers and problem solve how to fill a container.

Fill and Pour
Solve puzzles, much like the above "Decanting Puzzle" where you have to fill and pour containers to get the correct amount of liquid -- a similar problem was used in a Hollywood movie made famous by Bruce Willis. Math is everywhere!

This is a game of spatial reasoning. Math is just not about numbers you know!

Tactics
Challenge the computer taking turns removing counters from the board. The goal is to force the the computer to remove the last counter.

The object of this game is to convert all of the white pieces on the board to black pieces using your critical thinking skills. Up for a challenge? I bet you'll give this a "five" out of "five" star rating!

Switch It
The object of the game is to move all the white pegs to the other side of the board in the least number of steps possible. The computer can do it in 50 moves. How many moves will it take you?

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, or FEMA from the USA put together some "multiple choice" math problems to deal with some 'disaster' situations. Can you figure them out?

NUMB3RS ... Weekly Math Puzzle
NUMB3RS is a CBS TV drama about an FBI agent who recruits his mathematical-genius brother to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles. The two brothers take on the most confounding criminal cases from a very distinctive perspective. Regardless, this show makes "math cool" and relevant to crime fighting ... and I know one teacher from "The Cottage" who actually likes to watch it ... if he's not up late marking math ...
