Parent Teacher Interviews/Conferences
ONLINE booking system "My CBE Account"

Parent Teacher Conferences are a key part of our communication strategy regarding your child’s progress. Please plan on booking and attending a parent-teacher conference with the applicable teacher(s) for your child. There are also time blocks available for meeting with our specialists and/or school administration as well.

This round of conferences we will continue to use a web-based scheduling application that is now accessed through My CBE Account. This application makes checking teachers’ schedules and booking appointments on-line quick and easy. This web-based tool also allows your to pay various school fees online. The first time you use this web-based application you will be required to register for a new account, which only takes a minute or two. Please note that although parents can register at any time, the booking of conferences can only begin at or after 6:00 p.m. on January 29, 2017. Make sure you set up your My CBE Account prior to booking conferences or paying fees. Please use the same email address the school has on file.

Steps to registering and booking conferences:

1]. If you have not already, register for a parent account through My CBE Account at any time. New Users will have to create an account. Please use the same email address the school has on file.

2]. Log in to My CBE Account. Please note that the actual scheduling of conferences cannot be completed until or after 6:00 p.m. on January 29, 2017.

3]. Select the date, teacher(s) and times you want to book an appointment. If you are wanting to book appointments with more than one teacher you will want to select all the desired teachers from the teacher list so that you can best coordinate your schedule. A confirmation email is sent for each booking you make or, subsequently, cancel. In order to activate the account you must open the confirmation email and follow the instructions. This must be done within 24 hours. You will need to know your child's CBE student number to add your child if it their name(s) do not automatically populate in a list. Look for the CBE student number on your child's most recent report card, ask your child, or perhaps it is written inside their agenda. Contact the school to access this information if need be.

4]. Confirm your appointments have been booked. The schedule will be updated with your child name. Only you can see the name. Other parents will only the see light blue background meaning the time is not available for booking.

5]. When finished booking, click the log off button located at the top right of the browser window.

We greatly appreciate parents booking their own appointments, but know this is not always possible. If you are unable to book your own appointment, please call the school during regular office hours (403.777.6050) and we are happy to assist you. Thanks for all of your support with this initiative!
