They had a presentation from Dare to Care
about drugs and bullying and created this newsletter for people to
read and learn that drugs are horrible. They
will destroy your body, your mind, your brain,
your heart, your lungs, your kidneys, and your
life. |

February 2008 -
The Grade 4 classes had the opportunity to spend three days at Camp Chief Hector just before Teacher’s Convention. A great time was had by all during our Outdoor School experience. We enjoyed working together to complete the challenge course, hiking to an old shack, learning about various tree species, trying not to fall off the low ropes, eating lots of deliciously prepared meals, drumming, surviving the animal game, learning some magic games, singing at campfire, and playing octopus and other games.

November
29, 2007 - The Community Kitchen Program of Calgary in conjunction with
the Souper Stars Program, provided Piitoayis Family School with a hot
lunch and a Chance to play floor hockey with the Hitmen! Approximately
20 Nortel Corporate Volunteers served the students a great lunch. The
Hitmen Hockey players signed autographs with staff and students. We really
enjoyed the experience!
