Principal's Message - May

Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The AGM includes the election of the executive for next year’s council. ALL PARENTS are strongly encouraged to attend the election at 6:30 on Tuesday May 14th in the library. We would like to thank Nadia K for volunteering her time over the past 2 years in the role of Chairperson of the School Council. Her position will be filled by a vote for the next school year during the AGM. Shelly C. has been our secretary and Carrie S. has been our treasurer for this year. We would like to thank them for their excellent work. Both of these parents will remain as part of the executive for the upcoming school year.

WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN

On Thursday May 30th at 4:30 pm all families with children registered for fall kindergarten are invited to attend “Welcome to Kindergarten”. On hand will be kindergarten information as well as information from many community representatives. Children registered for kindergarten in the fall will have the chance to try out a few of our learning centers and participate with their parents in a fun hour of playing and learning. Hope to see you there.

If you have not yet registered your child for kindergarten next year, please do so before the May 30th event.

Mini We Day

On April 12th students at Erin Woods participated in Mini We-Day. This was an amazing presentation with an incredible message of belonging, perseverance, virtue and generosity. Our own student and teacher Teaming Up Club organized and hosted this event. We cannot express enough our thanks to everyone who supported Mini We Day. What a fabulous event this was.
