The 25-year-old time capsule has been opened!  Past teachers and students enjoyed seeing each other again!

Congratulations to the Boys U12 team at Erin Woods School for their win at the Diversity Cup Soccer Tournament held the weekend of June 20, 2009.  The tournament sponsored by Kid Sport and the Calgary Police Service Diversity Resources Unit attracted 31 teams from around Calgary.  The purpose of the tournament was to develop sportsmanship and friendship amongst youth in Calgary.  Erin Woods School entered 4 teams in the tournament.  The two girls U12 teams placed 3rd in their categories.  The two boys U12 teams played their hearts out for the cup.  Special thanks to the teachers at Erin Woods for their endless hours practicing and their weekend spent at the soccer field.  The Diversity Cup is proudly on display in the foyer at Erin Woods School. Way to go team!!
