Kindergarten Information Evening - Thursday, May 4th, 6pm

This information session is for parents and students that are already registered for the fall. Parents are encouraged to bring their child who will spend some time with our amazing Kindergarten teachers in the classroom, while parents learn about routines and school information.

Earth Day - April 22

This Earth Day, a group of students from Eco club went to Edmonton to share their “Turn the key, be idle free,” campaign at the Alberta Council for Environmental Education’s “150 ways Alberta schools show climate leadership.” At this event our students spoke with students from around Alberta, answered tough questions from Alberta school trustees and even spoke with the Minister of Education, honourable David Eggen, about their initiative and the work they are putting in to make it successful. A student led group, Alberta Climate Leadership Youth Network, helped to facilitate the day and gave special notice to Chinook Park students for the engaged conversations and rich answers they overheard during the afternoon workshop. This day was another amazing example of how students are taking up learning here at Chinook Park School. Next time you drive to school, don’t forget, “turn the key, be idle free!"

Donate Your Broken Holiday Lights Today

Chinook Park School and Henry Wise Wood High School invite you to join them in collecting broken holiday lights from now until the end of January. This will help prevent lights from going into our landfills, when they can be recycled for copper.
