Message from Assistant Principal | November

I hope everyone has recovered from the excitement of Halloween. It was so much fun seeing all of the students in their costumes enjoying the magic of pretend. Thank you to our community police officers who came in to help us with our games in gym and to carve our pumpkins.

Hopefully everyone was able to stay warm on their evening adventures. I would like to remind parents at this time to save the candy for afterschool and to enjoy at home. When students come to school with lots of candy they often don’t eat a healthy lunch and have a more difficult time getting through the school day. Saving it for home allows them something extra to look forward to afterschool.

As I mentioned last month, we are getting closer and closer to our winter season. The cold weather is setting in and is not as likely to warm up in the same way as before. Parents are encouraged to dress your children ready for the weather. Even in the cooler weather we will be going outside unless the temperatures or weather are too miserable. If you are needing help with outdoor clothing please let us know and we will do our best to assist you.

Thank you all for your continued support of the work in our school.
