Volunteer Information Sessions

Volunteers play a key role in our school and we feel it is important to meet with you before you volunteer in the school. Ttwo sessions will be held in the conference room by the office for new/un-initiated volunteers:

Wednesday, October 15th at 2:20 pm.

Thursday, October 16th at 8:30 am.

Your experience and insight will be invaluable as we develop a common understanding of our school processes and the role of volunteers in our school.

We thank all volunteers in advance for attending these sessions.

Calgary Reads - Reading Up!

We are participating in the Calgary Reads Reading Up! Program. Calgary Reads offers an in-school tutoring program to grade 1 and 2 students who may be struggling in reading. Reading tutors work with students for two sessions a week for 33 sessions. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in being reading tutors and working with student on improving their reading through Calgary Reads.

Volunteers will be required to take a training session through the Calgary Reads office downtown. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up for a volunteer training session at If you have any questions please contact Charlotte Kosior at 403-777-6830.
