Introduction to Kindergarten


On May 7th at 6:30 we will hold a Kindergarten Orientation session for parents only of registered Kindergarten students in the school gym. In June there will be an opportunity for registered Kindergarten students. Date and time to be announced at a later date.


Registration for 2015-2016 continues. To be eligible for Kindergarten, children must be four years of age on or before March 1, 2015. Please register your child at the school office and bring your child’s original proof of name, date of birth, and citizenship (e.g., Birth Certificate) and proof of address where you live (e.g., drivers license or utility bill).


Registrations Office Hours: M-T 8:30 to 3:00 pm; Friday 8:30 to 12:00 pm.


Student Movement Questionnaire

Please complete the questionnaire (pdf) by March 19th indicating whether your family is anticipating a move or change of school for the 2015-2016 school year. The result of this survey will help to guide our planning for next year’s school organization.


Games Club - Grades 1 &2

From April 8th to May 13th, during the Wednesday lunch hour, younger students have the opportunity to participate in a Games Club.


Please read and sign the games club permission form and return them to your teacher by April 1, 2015. Thanks, Mrs. Cose & Mrs. Kosio

Calgary Reads - Reading Up!


We are participating in the Calgary Reads Reading Up! Program. Calgary Reads offers an in-school tutoring program to grade 1 and 2 students who may be struggling in reading. Reading tutors work with students for two sessions a week for 33 sessions. We are looking for volunteers who are interested in being reading tutors and working with student on improving their reading through Calgary Reads.


Volunteers will be required to take a training session through the Calgary Reads office downtown. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up for a volunteer training session at If you have any questions please contact Charlotte Kosior at 403-777-6830.
