Midnapore School Playground Rebuild

South Mandarin Bilingual Program Decision


Following the request by parents to consider a middle/junior high school for the South Mandarin Bilingual Program, the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) initiated an expression of interest for a Grade 5-7 Mandarin Bilingual Program at Harold Panabaker School. The expression of interest and registration period has concluded and the decision was announced April 17, 2017. Read the decision letter.

Chinese New Year at Midnapore School

Midnapore School is a Mandarin Bilingual program for students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. An important part of learning a language is also experiencing the culture and special celebrations.

Kindergarten Registration for 2017-18


Midnapore School welcomes ongoing registrations for our Mandarin Bilingual and Regular Kindergarten and Grade 1 - 6 programs for the 2017-2018 school year. Stop by our office to register!


Midnapore is very fortunate to also have an after school program located right in the school and other day care providers that drop off and pick up at the school. Contact information for these organizations can also be picked up at the school office.


Registration for the 2017-18 school year begins Monday, Jan. 9, 2017. Children must be at least four years old on or before March 1 to start kindergarten in September of the same calendar year. You have to register in person at your school with proof of residence, your child's name, date of birth and citizenship.
