School Council

group of adults

Parents and community members are important partners in public education. Through School councils these important partners can make significant and meaningful contributions to the learning opportunities provided to CBE students. Every CBE school community is required to establish a school council. Working in collaboration with the principal and school community school councils can help foster a supportive learning environment and create valuable opportunities for students to reach their full potential.

School councils perform an important advisory role at schools. They help ensure that parents and community perspective is represented in school decision making. They are a valuable way to create a culture of respect and collaboration. If you are interested please attend our next meeting. Call the us for details 403-777-8170
