Welcome to Beddington Heights School

We would like to thank our many wonderful students, parents and staff for a wonderful school year. We hope everyone has a wonderful, relaxing summer holiday. Our office will re-open on August 26 for new registrations.

If your child will be taking the bus next year, please come to the school after August 26 to confirm bus stops and times. Please note that our bussing zone has changed for the 2010/11 school year. We will be posting the new changes on the website soon.

We will be welcoming students back on their first day of classes on Sept 2, 2010.

For those of you who are inquiring about registering your child at our school for Kindergarten next year (Sept 2010), we thank you for your interest in Beddington Heights School. Please have a look around our website and drop by or call to get a sense of our school.

Mr. J. Campbell

Purpose

Learning is our central purpose

Vision
Beddington Heights School is a caring community where all learners:

  • are actively involved in meaningful, authentic and engaging learning opportunities and problems.
  • have opportunities to learn within a personalized learning model, building strong academic skills that equip them to become successful in the 21st century.
  • are developing the character to do what is right, act morally with wisdom, and balance individual concerns with the rights and needs of others.

Values
We value:

  • a positive, optimistic, generous view of students and what they’re capable of learning
  • a strong foundation of knowledge
  • experiences and opportunities for staff and students to try new things in a safe and orderly learning environment
  • respect, caring and responsibility for self, others and the world around us
  • the natural problems that occur and our responses to those problems
  • change (however our values should not change)
