Principal's Message - November 2009
How lucky we are to live in Canada, a country that allows us universal access to health care, education, employment and the right to vote, and where we trust all are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect.
We have an annual assembly that honors those who dedicated their lives to freedom. This assembly will educate and inspire our newest generation of Calgarians to remember the importance of learning from our past and celebrating the enormous gift of our privileges and rights.
We extend the invitation to all of you to join us for our Remembrance Day Assembly as we light a candle for peace and we pay tribute to the national heroes who fought for the rights and freedoms we all enjoy today. Please join us on November 6 th at 10:30 am. It is our hope that we will have the assembly outside so please remember to bundle up.
