PARENT COUNCIL NEWS - JUNE
It’s hard to believe that the year is almost at an end, but in spite of what the weather tells us, summer is fast approaching. There are just a few items school council items remaining before the end of the year:
SCHOOL COUNCIL MEETING:
Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday June 8 at 6:30 in the staff room. After
the meeting we will be having our annual social, so please join us for some munchies
and conversation.
HOT LUNCHES:
Our hot lunch program is done for this school year. A huge THANK YOU to all the parents
and teachers who helped make this fundraiser such a success! Our final popcorn
snack will be Wednesday June 23, 2010 – if you want to order a bag of popcorn
please get your order in by Tuesday June 15.
CASINO:
Our casino is coming up on November 23 and 24, 2010 at Cash Casino on Blackfoot
Trail. Thank you to the parents that have already stepped up to help volunteer for our
upcoming Casino in the fall. We still need more volunteers, especially for our dayshift.
If you are able to volunteer, please fill out a volunteer form and hand it in to the office.
Volunteer forms can be found in the office.
Lastly, a big thank you to all the parents who came forward in response to our plea
for volunteers to fill council positions. Due to these willing volunteers, we are no longer
in dire straits and will be able to continue on as usual next year. We are still looking
for someone to help with the A-thon fundraiser next year. If you are interested, please
