We Can Make a Difference
Our theme this year is "We Can Make a Difference ". We want everyone to "Make a Difference" whether it is in their own lives or the lives of others. We want students to realize that every single one of them can make a difference in this world. As the theme develops over the year, we will be helping others and helping the environment so that students make a connection to the local, national and world community. Though this theme, we will meet the Ends Statements of Citizenship, Character and Personal Development.
As a whole school, we want to make a difference in the learning of our students. We want to increase the number of students who achieve excellence in the areas of Language Arts and Math. We will discuss new ways to assess students, teach math through a problem-solving approach and use technology to enhance learning. With the support of teachers and parents, our students will meet the End Statement of Academic Success by demonstrating high academic achievement.
