Who Are We?
The council is comprised of parent volunteers who meet every second month during the school year to plan
parental and student activities, initiate and organize special events,
advise and approve funding expenditures, bring forth parental concerns and
ideas to the school administration, and share information from the staff. Meetings
also include an informative report by the Principal, to update parents on
school finances, technology and development plans, curriculum highlights
and special events, and Calgary Board of Education announcements. Students
also provide a monthly report on the activities of each of grade.
We welcome comments at any time, and invite all of the parents of Hamptons
School students to attend the Parent meetings. Copies of the meeting agendas
and minutes are kept in the Council binder across from the main office.
