Before and After School Care

Chaparral School has been selected to participate in a Provincial initiative intended to create additional child care spaces.

As part of this initiative, two (2) modular units will be placed on the Chaparral School site for the provision of before and after school care services through an independent operator. The modular units will have the capacity to serve 30-40 children in a before and after school care program.

The operator for the Chaparral before and after school care program is JUVENESCENCE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTRE. Juvenescence is a new program managed under the direction of Jennifer Bulmer, who brings over a decade of child care programming experience, and previous experience working within a CBE school environment. To pre-register in the before and after school care program, please contact Jennifer Bulmer at (403) 922-7734.

Unavoidable delays in the project schedule have resulted in an amended anticipated occupancy date of late September 2010. Updates will continue to be posted on the school website as information becomes available and Juvenescence Child Development Centre will remain in contact with parents who have pre-registered in the program regarding confirmation of program start dates.
