Student Access to CBE Network

Parents:

For those of you considering the purchase of new technology for your children, please note that Tuscany students will be able to access the CBE network and internet service with their personal technology devices some time in the late fall of 2010.  Hand held devices such as iPads, iTouch, iPod, laptops or netbooks owned by students will be able to be connected to these services at the school  for SCHOOL USE ONLY.  Cell phones WILL NOT be used or live in the classroom. This is an optional program and not a requirement for students.

There are several areas of 'DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP' that both parents and students need to be familiar with and agree to before use will be available. Please watch for our Digital Citizenship plan and Acceptable Use Policy early on in September for further information.  This is an exciting new optional service offered by the CBE that will support student learning in new and exciting ways!
