Save the Gorillas!
Do you have an old cell phone? Our grade 3 classes are working to help lowland gorillas by collecting used cell phones for recycling.
Click here to see how you can help.

Mrs. Mellross's grade 4 class is exploring Waste in our World through"Project Garbage-Free". Starting February 8th, 2012, they began to collect every piece of waste they generated at school so they could see just how much garbage they create, even floor sweepings! Four students have designed an experiment to test the impact of the different conditions found in a landfill on waste. You can follow their experiment here.

The Student Voice Leaders Listened to the book "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" to learn about good citizenship and being kind to others. Click on the picture below to see some of their ideas to fill someone's bucket. All of Evergreen's students will have the opportunity to contribute to a "Fill a Bucket" bulletin board.
