Hop for Muscular Dystrophy!

Thank you to all of the families who helped to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy Canada. Students and teachers learned a few new dance moves and moved their muscles on March 11th and 12th at the hop. We raised $5676, exceeding our goal of $5000! Each student who participated in the fundraising was entered in a draw for prizes. A complete list of prize winners will be in the weekly newsletter.

Thank you to the Canadian Curling Association for their generous donation of tickets to the Brier.

We had an amazing trip to the Brier with students in grades 1-4. The students were very knowledgable about the game and cheered Team Canada to a 8-7 win over BC. It all came down to the last rock! Thanks to all of our parent volunteers for making our attendance at this event possible.

Winter Walk Day is February 4, 2015!

Evergreen students and their families got outside for some fresh air and fun on Winter Walk Day! Families walked to school in the chilly morning weather, students who arrived by car or bus hiked around the field until the bell, and classes took the time to go for a refreshing walk during the day. Thank you to our Student Voice Representatives for helping to promote Winter Walk Day.
