Calgary Board of Education

About our school

Langevin School is located in the northeast community of Bridgeland/Riverside. We are a unique K-Grade 9 school that is primarily made up of students who come from throughout the city to attend the Science Alternative Program. We also house a system special education class (ACCESS). These are all programs of choice within the Calgary Board of Education. The Science Alternative Program is the largest program with space for 600 students in Kindergarten through Grade 9. This program is designed to meet the needs of students who have a keen interest in science and inquiry based learning. We also have a CBE Special Education Class (ACCESS III) which has 10 students in it who have specialized learning needs. Students from all programs continue at their designated high schools for Grades 10-12.
