Bike Hack
You are invited to our Bike Hack Safety Course wrap up. This will be held on June 22nd from 12:00 pm to 1 pm in our upper compound. Jeff Dyck, our school resource officer, will be there to conduct a 'safety ride' through a course set up just for you. Parents and students are welcome. We will have some delicious 'power drink' to fill your water bottles and our Bike Shop will be on hand for tune-ups, tire services and more.  See you there!

Student fee invoices have been sent home this week with any student who has any outstanding fees. Please check your child’s backpack to view this invoice and see if there is a balance remaining. This information is also available in My CBE Account where payments can also be made. All fees should be paid for by June 25. Thank you for your help with this.

Provincial Achievement Tests (PAT)
Over the next 2 weeks students in Grades 6 and 9 will be writing their PATs. One of the best ways to guarantee success is to keep to routines, have a good night’s sleep followed by a healthy breakfast the morning of the PAT. We have great confidence in our students and wish them every success.

Volunteers Needed
We are in need of volunteers for the Teacher Appreciation Lunch and The Casino.

Please check out The Langevin Parent Society website It has all the details, role descriptions, and time commitments listed.
Please note these volunteer roles listed on the website do not count towards the classroom 3 volunteer per child per year commitment.
If you have any questions or concerns about the website please contact: or

Transportation Meeting
Transportation staff will be at Langevin School on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 6:30 pm in the gymnasium to meet with families from Langevin and Stanley Jones to discuss where possible congregated stops could be located based on the pre-registrations that are received. Click here for full details.

Bus Competition
Congratulations to #yycbe yellow bus driver (Bus F), Nathaniel O’Coin, for placing first in the long bus competition at the 2018 Alberta Bus Roadeo. Good luck at the international competition this summer in Philadelphia.
