Colonel Irvine currently supports a student body of approximately 400 students. Students come from many different areas of the City. Our regular program draws from the communities of Highwood, Cambrian Heights, Country Hills, Harvest Hills, North Haven, Rosemont, Kincora, and a portion of Thorncliffe. We are currently the only Middle school, Grades 5-9, providing a Chinese Mandarin bilingual program. Our students in this program come from all communities of Calgary. In addition, the school has a Bridges Program class. Its purpose is to assist students in the class to achieve academic success, self-regulation skills, and personalized lifelong health and wellness skills and strategies through flexible programming. Students in all programs are part of the school community and participate in school events.
