Language Arts

Math

The math curriculum can be very challenging. To help ease the problems we have experienced instructors that teach the curriculum set by Alberta Learning. There are a number of different topics covered, including number systems, fractions, decimals, algebra, polynomials, etc. Students and teachers work together to achieve the standards as outlined in the math curriculum.

Science

The Alberta science program encourages students at all grade levels to develop a critical sense of wonder and curiosity about the world around us. It attempts to prepare students to critically address science related social, economic, ethical, and environmental issues, drawing on various concepts to illustrate these dilemmas.

In this course students examine various cultures that illustrate the development of humankind in various regions around the world. Through the study of history, geography, economics and social history students look at Japan, Brazil, Canada and Russia. Current Events are also included in each grade.

The Physical Education curriculum emphasizes the ABCD's of physical activity.
