Pinnacle Parent Association
The PPA organizes
various committees which assist the school in running smoothly and efficiently. They also
provide additional funding for resources and special events to enhance your child’s
experience at Dr. Oakley. As many of our families have transitioned back to their
community schools, we have PPA positions available that will need to be filled in order to
sustain this council. These informal meetings are held once a month from 7-8 pm (no
meeting in December and June) and this allows our parents the opportunity to connect and
learn more about the happenings at the school. Each month a different teaching team
attends the meeting to bring our parents up to date on learning occurring in the classroom. Please consider volunteering your time.
Future meeting dates will be discussed and established at this first meeting. The students
and staff greatly appreciate the efforts and tremendous support provided through the
ongoing work of the PPA.
