Sherwood School Goes to Waterton National Park

Grade 5 students who applied to participate in the Camp Columbus learning opportunity last spring just got back from an amazing trip! 18 students with the support of Ms. Moore, Ms. Munroe, Mr. Deeprose and Mr. Chivers spent three days camping in the great outdoors investigating forest and grassy lake ecosystems. Thank you to those involved in the planning and preparation of this field trip for making it such a HUGE success! Special Thanks to Ms. Moore for her leadership in organizing this awesome experience and to Parks Canada for hosting this program.

Aspen Crossing

Grade 4 students travelled to Aspen Crossing on Sept. 21st. Students enjoyed serene prairie views of the 28 mile round trip, while the rocking back and forth with the sounds of the rail providing a relaxing atmosphere, taking them back to a simpler time. We saw historic wooden elevators, while learning first hand about agriculture and the railroad.

Sherwood Earns a Scholarship via Chapters Adopt A School!

Hello wonderful families!

We are writing to share with you a fantastic fundraiser that will greatly impact

our school. As you begin thinking about the holiday season (I know it's only

September), please consider making a short trip to the Chapters Spectrum store between September 18th - October 8th. We have been selected for the Chapters Indigo Adopt a School fundraiser!

We are so excited to build out our library collection!

100% of the donations collected will help us ensure that we have materials that

encourage our students to develop or continue a love of reading.

The address for the Chapters Spectrum store  is #500-2555 32nd Street N.E. Donations can only be made at this location between September 18th  - October 8th, 2016. Please share this far and wide! Happy Back to School!

Warm Regards,

There are a number of different ways you are able to pay school fees. You can pay online, in-person at schools or send in a cheque to the school or CBE. You can also pay using VISA, MasterCard, VISA Debit, Interac Online or Pre-Authorized Debit. You can find more information in CBE Fees & Waivers.
