Hi Parents and Guardians,
Thank you to everyone who helps support the School Council & Parent Society team
members in making these opportunities happen. We would like to share some details from
the activities and planning underway.
Invite for parents: Parents of students attending Riverbend School grade 6 classes and
Banting & Best grade 3 classes are encouraged to attend the May 14 and June 11 School
Council & Parent Society meetings. This is a good opportunity for you to learn about
Sherwood School to help support your child's transition to a new school.
Fundraising in progress: We are pleased to offer the "Growing Smiles Plant Fundraiser"
again this year. Orders can be placed after Spring Break starting on Tuesday, April 3 and
will close on Wednesday, May 9. Order delivery date is Wednesday, May 23. This is a great
way to support the School and to kick-off spring.
