We incorporated grades 5 & 6 in with the traditional grades 7 - 9 Junior High in 2009-2010. With the addition of these younger grades our school population has approached the Provincial cap of 690 students; we are currently sitting at 681 students. Simon Fraser School was built in 1964 and is situated on 3.8 acres. The school has 28 classrooms. We use both a Mac and PC computer format, with two full Mac labs, as well as several clusters throughout the school. We have a total of five class sets of lap tops used within our wireless environment. Our library is exceptionally well stocked (literacy focus) with books and technology. We recently have installed an additional 5 SMART Boards for a total of 14 in the school.
