Volunteer Positions - Application Form
School Council Message
Sir John
A. Macdonald School Council was formed in February, 1995. The council
is composed of all parents/guardians of Sir John A. Macdonald students,
principal and teachers. There are five elected positions on the council.
We are most interested in functioning as a parent/teacher support group.
The aims
and objectives of the School Council are:
- to establish
friendly liaison between parents and teachers regarding matters of mutual
concern.
- To establish
committees for fund raising, teacher assistance and any other program
which was deemed necessary
- to investigate
educational policy both at civic and provincial levels.
All parents
are encouraged to attend parent council meetings. Meeting times will be posted in our school newsletters and monthly calendars.
