H.D. Cartwright School is a dynamic learning community located in the Dalhousie Community of North West Calgary seving the communities of Dalhousie, Ranchlands, Sherwood, and Nolan Hill. We celebrate the diverse strengths, talents and challenges of each student and strive to work in partnership with parents to create a sense of safety, belonging, and success for every individual. We have 383 students in grades 7-9. In addition, we have three programs (LEAP, ACCESS, and BRIDGES) designed to meet specific learning needs of students from NW Calgary.

Transportation Fees 2010 - 2011
Calgary Transit has increased the cost of monthly bus passes from $52.50 to $54.25 per month. Calgary Transit's increase will be passed on to students eligible for subsidized Calgary Transit passes.
The Transportation Department will not be providing chartered school busses to H D Cartwright School for the 2010 - 2011 school year.
