Bridge Club

The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth is an organization which helps young immigrants. They are committed to assisting immigrant youth in overcoming whatever language and cultural barriers they have that may restrict their access and contribute to society. The youth are provided with a secure environment in which to develop cross-cultural understanding.

The Calgary Bridge Foundation for Youth perceive education, accurate information, and positive family support to be essential to the successful development of these students.

the foundation runs an after-school program at Clarence Sansom called Bridge Club. Bridge Club offers a variety of programs which enable youth to improve their English skills and learn about Canadian life in a safe, nurturing environment. They offer assistance to immigrant and English as a Second Language students. Bridge Club focuses on life skills (persona, health and safety, community awareness, and Canadian culture and traditions), social skills, and homework help.
