Did you know that Queen Elizabeth High School has both a School Council and a Booster Association and that all school parents are automatically members of both? Everyone is encouraged to participate by volunteering and/or attending meetings to hear what is currently happening in the school!
The School Council facilitates collaboration and communication between home and school by connecting parents, teachers and our school community.
The School Council:
- Supports every student's learning experience
- Keeps parents connected with school activities
- Acts as an advisory group for school administration
The Booster Association is a registered not for profit society that raises funds for school programs through a casino that is held approximately every 18 months.
Through the important fundraising efforts of the Booster Association, students have benefited from:
- Replacement and upgrades to band equipment
- Much needed equipment and supplies for the fitness room
- New equipment for science labs
The next casino will be held February 12-13, 2018. Please consider volunteering your time for this important fundraiser. No experience is necessary. The tasks are easy and we're all trained on what to do right there on the spot with friendly 'Advisors' supporting us every step of the way. Please volunteer online today through Sign-up Genius.
