High school is one of the most important aspects of a young person’s life as they move from the K-9 school setting into planning for their future at the high school level.  The choices you make now will guide the coming years of your life in terms of opportunities and the scope of possibilities you open for yourself.  We appreciate that you have chosen Forest Lawn High School as your school of choice.  Together we will build your future in a positive and caring learning environment characterized by trust, recognition and a sense of belonging.

The Forest Lawn High School Registration Guide has been designed to assist both parents and students in laying out an educational framework for the future.  Whether you are just entering grade 10 or entering your final year as a grade 12 student, there are many factors which must be taken into consideration when determining your selection of courses.  We ask that you review the contents of the Registration Guide and speak with our counsellors in order to formulate a plan for success in the coming year.

Your accomplishments in high school will ultimately depend upon the level of effort and the quality of the work you put into your studies.  But academic aptitude is not the only measure of success.  I would encourage all students to become involved in any of the vast variety of clubs, sports, and extracurricular activities offered at the school.  Involvement in these types of opportunities provides students new venues to develop skills and friendships that last a lifetime.  Our staff will help in making your years at Forest Lawn High memorable and successful by assisting you in preparing for a promising future.
