International Student Program

We are excited that you have chosen to study with us at Crescent Heights High School located in the heart of the city, close to downtown. Our school has easy transportation access through either public transit or designated school buses.  We offer an outstanding program with ESL classes and full integration into all other courses.  Students will be enrolled in academic and complementary classes, i.e., Art, Foods, Computer Applications or Photography.  We accept students that are coming here for a short term visit or those that want to get a high school diploma and move onto a post-secondary institution.  If you have any questions please contact our International Advisor, Ms. M. I like the school because I have been able to meet new friends from different backgrounds.  There are many extra-curricular activities and sport teams in the school that I enjoy.  I like the school atmosphere and I have enjoyed the peer mentor program and computer club.  This year I even tried something new by joining the track and field team.

Crescent Heights is a nice environment with friendly teachers and students.  I have met many friends and have tried playing baseball.  The biggest difference about being here in Canada is the fresh air with no pollution and the chance to see a very beautiful blue sky.

I have learned so much from Crescent Heights, not only in the textbooks but cultural aspects of life.  I have gained good friendships and have a better understanding of who I am.  I am now graduating and will be going to Western Univerityin Ontario.

Being at Crescent Heights has taught me a lot about myself and the world around me.  This exceptional environment has opened the door to my future success.  During my two years here, I have learned that no glory is accomplished without hard work and commitment.  The priceless knowledge, experience and great friendships that I have gained at Crescent Heights will play an inevitable past in my drive to achieve what I desire in life.  It has been a pleasure to be a member of the Crescent Heights family and I’m proud to be a small part of something so great.  I will be attending Millsap College in Mississippi taking a major in Chemistry.
