Celebrate Western
Celebrate Western is SaturdayApril 17 th 2010.
It isWCHS’s one and only annual fundraising event. An evening showcase of impressive student talent: dance, drama, visual art, choral, band and culinary feats, all in one evening, all under one roof.
Our business partner, HUSKY ENERGY, sponsors our use of the beautiful multi-tiered atrium of Western Canadian Place. Sit and watch a mini drama, listen to the jazz band heat up the night, relax to the harmony of choir, or mingle amongst the impressive array of visual art and multi-media. With delicious food & drink and a classy silent auction, the evening is as impressive as it is important. As a fundraiser, Celebrate Western is significant because it benefits all students in the school.
Tickets are $10 and will be available for sale in the school office. If you have already pre-purchased your tickets when paying your child’s school fees, they will be mailed to you in February/March. Tickets will also be available for sale at the door.
Please consider donating an item for our silent auction. This constitutes a major portion of proceeds … be creative, be generous! Follow the link below for a pledge sheet.
The event runs from 7 – 10pm. Parking is in the adjacent Centennial Parkade or on the street.
Western Canadian Place is located 801 – 6 th Street SW. We have been fortunate to have been in this space since the event’s inception.
