Exam Information Memo to Parents and Students

Central Wellness Fair

Wed Dec 2 - all afternoon – In Cafeteria and Foyer; for students by students .  Everyone welcome.   

French/Spanish Challenge Exam Meeting

Students participating in the Spanish/French challenge exam need to attend an important meeting on Tuesday December 1st at lunch in room 109.  We will discuss status of your process and challenge exam date.  For more information contact Mrs. Engel in room 109.    

Learning Commons Coffee House Night

Central Memorial will be hosting a coffee house evening on Monday, December 14th from 7:00-8:30. All students are welcome to perform or attend! The night will be “unplugged”, with opportunities for musicians to perform a short acoustic set. Admission cost is an item or money for donation to the food bank.


Musicians interested in performing need to attend a meeting on Wednesday, December 2nd in room 101 where you will sign up for a time slot and provide details about your performance. Musical groups are allowed a maximum of two songs.

The Cinderella Project

Our program is discreet, and celebrates the diversity and educational achievement of our youth.

Cyrano and Roxanne
A Retelling of Edmond Rostand’s Classic Play,
“Cyrano de Bergerac”
 In Paris, France during 1640, a brilliant poet and swordsman named Cyrano de Bergerac finds himself deeply in love with his beautiful, intellectual cousin Roxanne. Despite Cyrano’s brilliance and charisma, a shockingly large nose afflicts his appearance, and he considers himself too ugly to risk telling Roxanne his true feelings.

Adults $20      Students $17
Dates- Nov. 24, 25, 27 at 7 p.m. 28, 29 at 2 p.m.

Fundraiser CPVAF

Calgary Performing and Visual Arts Foundation (CPVAF) is hosting a fundraiser with Clothing for a Cause on Dec. 8-13.
There will be a blue bin located in the front entrance parking lot at Central Memorial High School.
Please bring clothing, household linens and curtains tied in a plastic bag.  Shoes will also be accepted in pairs tied in a plastic bag.
Drop them in the bin and know that you are helping the environment by recycling these items as well as supporting the PVA programs at Central Memorial High School.

Graduation 2016 UPDATE:

We have received confirmation:  The graduation closing exercises will be May 18th 9am at The University of Calgary AND the graduation banquet for 2016 will also be held on May 18th at the Telus Convention Centre.
