ADVANCED PLACEMENT STUDIO ART

Art 10AP, Art 20AP, and Art 30AP
Advanced Placement is available at all levels in the art program to those students who wish to develop a more in-depth and technical study in the visual arts. The Advanced Placement course will provide art students with an opportunity to develop skill, technique and style in a variety of two –dimensional medium. Students will come to understand the role that the visual arts have played in both an academic setting as well as greater society. Emphasis will be placed upon Art History in addition to studio work: an interview with the art teacher is recommended.
