ALBERTA INITIATIVE for SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT (AISI)

The AISI Project at Ernest Manning for the past three years has focused on coaching, mentoring and literacy for teachers and students. During this project, we have discovered many new things about the nature of literacy. New definitions of literacy, in the larger world, have been created to meet the demands of a new century. While this project is coming to an end, Ernest Manning will have a new project with a slightly different focus, reflecting some of these discoveries, starting in September 2003.
