This course is designed to introduce students to design and drafting through the exploration of the Design Process (Need, Brainstorming, Design Brief, Researching, Planning, Fabrication, Evaluation) and using aspects of problem solving to build the expertise and skills required in the fields of architectural, industrial, and environmental designs.

Design Studies 20 & 30

Students who enter this stream will learn about the creative design process from conception to development to final project in architecture, industrial design, engineering, interior design, and environmental design. Through the extensive use of industry standard computer aided drafting and design software (CAD), students can expect to create final projects that can be used in real life applications.
