Stock Market and Money Trading Club
The primary activity of the Stock Market Club is competition in the two month long National Secondary School Competitions held twice a year, once in the fall and again in the winter. Churchill’s teams have dominated the Western Canada region for decades and periodically produce national champions, most recently in the fall of 2007. Between national competitions, club members study investment and hone their skills with Investopedia’s Stock Market Simulator.
Our stock market club is famous! Our student stock market team (all in grade ten) won the Secondary National Championship in December 2007.
