Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School is a concerned educational centre offering quality education to a large suburban community.  We offer a variety of educational programs, student services and extra-curricular activities.   Opportunities for individual student learning and success are provided for all students.  Our teachers provide superior instruction. The purpose of Dr. E.P. Scarlett High School is to prepare, through the development of knowledge, skills, attitudes and responsibility, graduates who are self-confident, life-long learners capable of enhancing their lives and the quality of our world.

In support of this purpose, we are committed to:

Creating a school climate of openness, trust, fairness and humanity conducive to effective learning and teaching and the implementation of new ideas.
Creating a climate for students characterized by high expectations, hard work, excellence, mutual respect, caring and positive support for all members of the school community.
Providing support services and programs for students with learning difficulties.
Providing enrichment programs for gifted, talented and able learners.
Providing educational programs that are compatible with the requirements of a rapidly changing society.
Providing educational and career counseling to assist students in achieving entry to post-secondary education, training or the world of work.
Providing a strong extra-curricular program in fine arts, athletics, inta-murals, student leadership and other activities which meet student needs or interests.
