Pure Math 20 - 5 credits
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Pure Math 10
To be successful in Pure Math 20 students must have 60% or higher in Pure Math 10. Other students who have barely passed Pure Math 10 should seriously consider Math 20 Applied. The emphasis of the course is on a theoretical understanding of the foundations of mathematics.
Applied Math 20 - 5 credits
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Pure Math 10 or Applied Math 10
To be successful in Applied Math 20 students must have 60% or higher in Applied Math 10 or have taken Pure Math 10. Students 50% to 60% in Applied Math 10 should consider Math 24. This would complete their requirements for a High School Diploma.
Math 24 - 5 credits
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Math 14, Pure Math 10 or Applied Math 10
Math 24 is the final course in the Math 14-24 sequence, and upon successful completion satisfies the math requirement for a high school diploma. There is no grade 12 course in this sequence.
