Courses
Most courses
offered at Discovering Choices consist of correspondence materials from
Alberta Distance Learning. Each course is developed in sections called modules.
Each module is accompanied with an assignment booklet. Staff will grade
these booklets as you complete and hand them in. Each assignment booklet
is evaluated based on how well you demonstrate your understanding of the
concepts, completeness, effort and legibility. Generally, your assignment booklets will
be worth not less than 60% of your overall grade. A minimum of 40% or greater
is required on *final exams to earn credits.*Midterms may be required
for some of the courses.
